Genaral information on “Proton spin – anticlockwise rotation”

Protons, as positively charged particles in the core of the atoms, have a rotation know as spin. This motion creates a magnetic field around the proton. In anticlockwise rotation, the North pole of the field is at the bottom and the South pole at the top. This fact is important if an external magnetic field is applied. (see our animation”Proton spin in a magnetic field).

(Attention, this is not a exact view of quantum physics)
