Explanations of the Topic „Electron Spin – Clockwise Rotation“
The electron, as a negatively charged particle, not only moves around the nucleus of the atom but also possesses an intrinsic angular momentum (spin). This motion of a charge generates a corresponding magnetic field around the electron. When the spin is clockwise, the north pole is at the bottom and the south pole is at the top. This fact becomes particularly significant when an external magnetic field is applied.
(Please note that this is not a purely quantum-physical explanation.)
